Karie started her career in Northern Virginia in 1985 working for one of the largest companies in the area, where she gained experience in public and private projects, ranging from small residential subdivisions to multi-property mixed use developments, as well as roadway, highway, subway and railway surveys. In 1991 she became licensed as a surveyor and formed her own company specializing in transportation and environmental surveys, as well as ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys for large and small commercial projects. She sold her business and relocated to Georgia in 2001 gaining additional experience in previous areas of expertise, as well as in GIS base mapping and utility mapping. She also worked in Louisiana and Texas gaining experience in a variety of surveys required for the oil, gas and pipeline industry.
Karie holds Bachelor Degree in Land Surveying from Purdue University. She is active in the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG) and is currently serving as the Etowah Chapter representative to the state SAMSOG board. She enjoys working with children and has been actively participating in school career days to help introduce children to this fun and exciting occupation/profession!
Ramon has spent over 15 years in the surveying and Mapping/Geospatial industry. His range of experience is very broad, including, but not limited to: photogrammetric control, LIDAR,/laser scanning, GIS base and utility mapping, airport approach surveys, as well as boundary, topographic and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys. He is bi-lingual and has worked with both domestic and international clientele in both private and governmental markets.
As a retired US ARMY Officer, Ramon understands how important it is to accomplish his missions. While deployed to Afghanistan, Ramon worked as a Geospatial Analyst providing Mapping/Imagery support within theater. His military service allows ease of security clearance for government projects.
Wayne has more than 35 years of extensive experience in surveying and holds a professional land surveyor license in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia and South Carolina.
Mr. Colburn served his country by entering the US Army and serving in the topographic unit, where he first became interested in Land Surveying. After leaving the army, He received a Bachelor Degree in Land Surveying from Purdue University.
He is an experienced field crew coordinator,
project manager, survey computer/ CAD operator, crew chief, and instrument operator.
